Hi, you should not change the core code, but you should add the missing strings into your language file. so if some strings are untranslated, it means, that they are missed in langauge pack. So it needs to be updated.

I'm trying to transate to. Where you found 2.5.0 portuguese version. Whem I donwload the file, from here, the version is 1.0.5-pt-BR.

if I get the "ini" file in English I'll need to translate it all or can only translate the latest versions?
May I get the file that is translated on the site - version 1.0.5 - and continue from where it ends?

Hi, you can continue with the current translation file (it should be under GPL licence, so you need to leave the name of translators in the file).
