Error trying to install 2.6.2

Post by bluesguy »

I have a site with Phoca 2.6.0 up and running. I noticed there was an upgrade so I decided to upgrade.

================================================================
500 Server Error

Please contact the server administrator, www@www.jcdisciples.org and inform
them of the time the error occurred , and anything you might have done that
may have caused the error. [tonnant/19178]

Error: HTTPd: malformed header from script /administrator/index.php

Looking through the the CGI Error Log provided by my ISP and I found

01/26/10 13:40 "/web/administrator/index.php", proc "/usr/local/bin/php5":
% Error: KJOB; Terminating job
% CPU runtime max (job) detected; exceeded 100 job or 50 proc units limit

I talked to my ISP and their assessment is that the php is very inefficient which is causing this problem.

Suggestions?

Still having this problem.

Also if I copy the package to /web/tmp and try to install from there I get the following error
* Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.
* Path does not have a valid package.

Hi, if you have problems with installing components on your site, try to ask on Joomla.org forum, maybe there you will find some solution. Check the path (if it is correct, check the permissions and ownership of files and folders)
