Customise Category View

Hi

I plan to have 9 categories in my site and I'd like to show the category lists as just thumbnails without the category name and the photo count information.

Please could you tell me which php code needs amending. I found a similar post, and edited the php code but it didn't work.

I'd be grateful for any help.
