Bugs? Problems with large galleries/displaying over 50images

Hi

I'm in the process of plugging phoca into a site for a photographer client who needs the ability to have private galleries for individual galleries and phoca currently seems to be the only joomla gallery to support this.

I'm coming across a few issues tho where a category with more than 50-100 pictures is involved and wondered if anybody else had the same problems?

1.) Changing the ordering of images in the image list doesn't work for over around 50 images. i.e. change image 60 to image 1 press the little save icon (the same way as you would for an article in article manager) and nothing happens, just a page reload.

2.) It appears impossible to delete multiple images when dealing with more than 50 images. I.e. select 'all' images for the display, tick all of the images, press delete. Nothing happens, just a page reload.

3.) Again for more than about 50 images recreating multiple thumbnails is not working. I.e. select 'all' images to be displayed, select all of the images, press recreate. Nothing happens, just a page reload.

All of the above are working fine when there are less than around 50 images, displaying more than 50 images however breaks all of the above.

Any ideas? Anybody else come across the same problem? It's really frustrating as everything else seems to be working fine.

In version 2.6.2 all the problems you mentioned above were working for me. Didn't create an album in version 2.7.0 yet.

Yup I had the bugs in the old version also.

I was hoping 2.7 would be better but no..

Currently if you need to delete images/re-order/etc as outlined in my first post with more than 100 or so images it becomes very difficult and with anything over 200 it takes an age to delete images as you have to delete them 50 at a time.

Strange. I don't have these problems with albums with over 200 images
