Category View using meta keywords

I run a cricket club website and am wanting to create a content article for each player in the team to display their player profile ie how many runs they've scored, wickets taken etc. I also have a gallery on the site with a number of action shots of the players in diferent matches and the pictures are sorted into categories based on the match they were taken at.

What I'd like to do is add the players names contained in each picture to the meta keyword field. I'd like then to be able to use the plugin for phoca gallery or similar to create a category view within each player profile content article displaying all of the pictures from the gallery of that player using the tags within the meta keyword field.

I don't have the skills to do this and was just wondering if anyone had required any similar functionality that they could share how they achieved this sort of tagging functionality.

Hi, no experiences there, there is a column for keywords in Phoca Gallery so yes, this can be solved by some plugin.
