Flipped punctuation marks in picture description

Post by pkuenemann »

Hi,

I am using phoca gallery 2.6.2 with the german language set (also latest version) and joomla 1.5.1 and encountered a funny behaviour of the gallery while using pics descriptions. If I, for instance, add the description "Welcome to our shop!" to a picture and open that picture in the gallery of the webpage, the text appears as "!Welcome to our shop" - the exclamation mark is flipped to the front of the sentance. And more: if I type in: "...and even more to see:" it will appear as ":and even more to see...".

Does anybody know, what's wrong with my installation? You can see more examples at http://www.sehenundstaunen.de, go to "News/Events" and click "Fotos Frankfurt '10" or "Fotos Bangkok '10" in the submenue.

I would appreciate any help.

Thanx,
Peter.

Hi Jan,

I get this problem only within the phoca gallery not within any other content. Also it flippes only the punktuations at the End and beginning, not all the words in the picture descriptions. By the way, where would I find a RTL setting in Joomla?

Regards,
Peter.

Hi, I think it should be in template or in global configuration

No idea what can be wrong, I only know this is displayed in case RTL settings is somewhere set. But in Phoca Gallery there is no such setting :-(
