Authorise images in frontend not working

Hi, first of all thank you for this great joomla! component!

I have this situation: members are able to upload their images, but they are not yet activated. An administrator will have to activate these images to make them visible on the website. So, if anybody is logging in on the frontend with the administrator-status, they can go to these members folders and authorise the images.

I can not get this to work. In the frontend there are 4 icons beneath the image thumbnail. The two on the right are Publish/Unpublish and Authorise/Unauthorise. Publish is working, but authorise is not. If I look at the url in the generated code I see <a title="Image is not authorized" href="#">, so it will not go to any url whatsoever.

Am I doing something wrong? Is it a parameter I have to set? Can anyone please help me with this? I've read the manual and tried for hours, but I don't seem to succeed...

I found the solution after a long time.

go to "Control Panel"
upper rigth corner pres "Parameters"
Scroll down to "Upload settings"

set "Enable User Upload Image Authorization" to "NO"

That helped me.

Thank you for thinking with me ClausJepsen. But this doesn't work for me. Everything still works the same as it did before.

I think when I change this optiin user's pictures are immediately published, without the admin authorised them?
