I have the same problem. Works fine to display the gallery component in FireFox, but not in IE. Why oh why does so many people still run with that silly web browser?
Are there any solution somewhere on the forum which I missed?
Your help is much appreciated!

Re: Gallarie Problem mit IE
I did try the fix in the FAQ, unfortunately without result. I also tryed viewing the website in joomla standard templates, still no change. I rembered throwing in a Javascrip to view visitors on a little world globe, I completely removed that. And I tried to unpublish all modules, but the result remained the same; Gallery component fully functional in FireFox and gone in IE 8. Wierd thing is that the navbar to the left disappears. The Phoca Gallery Category name is displayed and the template and everything (with exception for left navbar and site footer) is still looking well.
If anyone care to have a look, I'll provide you with URL. Don't want to throw out URLs over the forum for no good reason though.

Re: Gallarie Problem mit IE
Hi, check the method of detailed window displaying (in Phoca Gallery), maybe there is some conflict with modal box (which is a part of Joomla!). For now I have no other idea to fix this problem
It is the know issue in IE but still no right solution

Re: Gallarie Problem mit IE
Hello,
I found a way to workaround this problem. I simply linked the menu to an article. I used the Phoca Gallery Plugin to get the images in the article instead. This way it works just fine. Now I have one question regarding the plugin settings. I would like to activate the JAK Lightbox Thumbnails Orientation. I know that this can be activated in the Phoca gallery component parameters, but then I'll get it in all the articles where I am using JAK lightbox to display the images. I would just like to activate it for this one article. I can't find it in the Phoca Gallery Image plugin, but I was hoping that there still is a way.
Your help is much appreciated!

Thank you for the link.
I been there before I asked and could't find it then and still can't. I can't even see the JAK detail window being listed there. It just goes to Highslide JS on that manual.
