Hi,
I'm testing the user front end panel (ucp) to create a new category and upload images. So I'm logged in as a front end user in the ucp and I'm able to create a new subcategory. So far so good now, 'category created'. But when I try to upload images to that category I get 'User folder was not defined'. When I check as admin in the back end, I can see that the user folder was not set.
I want my registered users to be able to do the whole process themselves, so the user folder should be set automatically.
When I check with ftp-tool, the images\phocagallery has CHMOD value of 777. The folder is indeed not created on the server.
So why is the user folder not created?
What configuration setting is missing? Or do I misinterpret the procedure?
Thx for your input!
P.S. Installed gallery version: 2.6.2

Re: 'User Folder Was Not Defined' after ucp category creation
Hi, after you will create a main category in UCP, your user folder will be created, so it seems, like there is some problem with creating the folder on your server. Try to test not only your permissions but ownership of files and folders on your server too. Try to enable/disable ftp layer too.
