Why do people like phoca gallery?

Hi, yes no problem there, if you cannot run the gallery or if this fit no your requirements, then it is better to use some other extension.

I tried to get descriptions to show up with thumbnails, which it will not do when a gallery is in an article. Someone said to set it in the parameters, but the parameters will not change. No answer.

If you have problem with saving parameters, then check your Joomla! installation as parameters are saved and worked by Joomla! framework

Now, for some unknown reason the thumbnail creation is disabled, which also will not change in parameters.

Yes, Phoca Gallery is free extensions. I am trying to answer all the posts in forum, to coordiante all the translations and all the extensions (components, plugins, modules, templates, tools, etc.) but I do it all in my freetime, so sometimes I am not able to do it all because of time.

If you see all Phoca site, then you will see, that in my freetime I make for the Joomla! community a lot of things, more than a lot ... so this is maybe the reason why people appreciate this work. Of course if somebody will help me e.g. with answering the posts in the forum, I can do more development.
