Internet Explorer got me again - killed the gallery

The rottenest browser in the universe did it to me again. My phoca gallery is not showing up in IE8, and also when I emulate IE7. It says there's a network connection problem. Oddly, there is no such problem for every other browser out there. Help. I'm about to get a paycheck on this and I can't figure the problem out so far. Here's the URL:

Okay, IE connected once, but it only shows one empty and non-clickable category out of four good ones that work on all other browsers

Hi, it looks exactly the same in Firefox and IE (latest versions) on my computer!

EDIT: Well, sorry, not exactly the same: in IE the back-button and all the icons underneath the thumbnails are missing, and it shows one column less then FF...

Try one of the standard templates of Joomla! and see if it works then.
