Upload image with Phoca Gallery User Control Panel Layout

Hello,

i created a section in "user menu" for someone upload photos and create categories without access in the joomla administration.

The User can create just one categorie, and after that, he can just upload on this one.
When i check the joomla administration (in phocagalerie categories), i see the categorie created by this user have put his name in "autor". if i put his "autor name" in other categorie (for he can edit) that remove the "autor" from the first categorie.

So i can just edit one categorie.

How i can do ?
i want this user can choose a categorie before he upload photos on them.

I suppose you're using version 2.5.8 or older? What you desire is realized in 2.6.0, but this is alpha, so not for pruduction sites!!! Me and some other begun to test this version, so be patient a little bit

yes i'm in 2.5.8, so i must wait

if i put many pictures and categories on my version 2.5.8, i will can update easily and keep my pictures ?

Yes, after upgrade you will not lost the images (if you will not uninstall previous version)
