Error in Admin Area

Post by Nimsoosun »

Hi :-)

at first: thanks for all the good components for joomla

second... i have a problem :D

I did an upgrade of my Phoca Gallery Version 2.xx to the newest one 2.5.8 and i followed the upgrade declaration of the documentation to upgrade it.

After that i get the Error if i click on the Pictures Overview in the Admin Area:

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in .../libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 344

And if i click on a thumbnail, the extension of the pictures does not work anymore.

I read the documentation and searched in the forum... but i didnt find anything...
I have already 6 tables in mysql ;)

My Phoca Gallery Version: 2.5.8
Joomla 1.5.14

Has anybody an idea? :-)

Thanks

Hi Jan,

i checked the tables and compared with the install.bak script of the update package.

At first i did the ALTER Tables...

After that i recognized that the field

phocagallery_categories`.`userfolder` text

was missing. I added it.

I thought i have 6 tables and everything is ok, but then i saw, that you put 2 new tables inside.
I installed them... Now it works. It seems i had a quite old version of it :-(
It was my first update. For the next time i will be better ;-)

Thank you very much for your work Jan :-)
