Phoca gallery default parameters/settings

Hi, been running into a snag regarding default parameters and would rather just have confirmed I'm not insane. Been trying to change a few of the settings for image display in category view. Managed to change a few like not displaying title, the default detail window and so on as to not having to change that for every single image I'm to insert. Some settings though, like the "Border Color (Mouseover)" I fail to even find it in the "gallery options - category view" or any other settings tab. But I also read this on the Parameters page here:

"Phoca Gallery is running on different Joomla! versions. So it is possible that you will not find all listed parameters in your Phoca Gallery - depends on used Joomla! system."

So I'm guessing I'm just outta luck running Joomla 3.8.7 on seeing thoose parameters and changing the default values? Sure I can resort to changing that parameter from default to the ones I need manually in the snippet every time I insert an image, but with a couple of hundred images that becomes rather tedious and timeconsuming.

Guessing overriding it with CSS would seem the reasonable solution? Wich I failed at but seems I'll have to give it another try.

Hi, yes, setting border color through parameters was a way 10 years ago, now CSS is used. So styling the design should happen through Joomla! template in CSS (so the design is the same for whole page)
