Issue with Access rights for categories

Hi there,

I have now tried to use Phoca Gallery as well.

What I actually need is a front end solution where members of a site can upload pictures into categories. I have created some categories and I would like to make these categories for accessable for all members to be able to upload pictures.

Therefore I have created a main category
In this main category I created several sub categories (e. g. Summer party, Christmas Party, etc.)

Now I would like to allow members to create an own sub category into e. g. "Summer party" with their own pictures.

Currently my problem is that the already created sub categories are not viewable for normal members even if the access rights are defined for members.

Is Phoca Gallery able to do what I want to do and if yes, where is my fault?

Users can create own subcategories in their main category, they can only access the categories/subcategories where they hare rights to do.
