Hi
I've installed Phoca Gallery and wanted to install the Danish Language files as well. But the joomla installer return an error telling that it couldn't find the installation file. In the end I just dragged the languagefiles to the languagefolder via my ftp-programme. But it only seem to effect the front end. How to make it work in the backend?
J:3.6.3
Template: Joomlart/JA Resume
P: 4.3.1
Yours sincerely
Claus

Re: language issue
Hi,
your procedure is absolutely correct. Since no xml installation file is present in the package, the two language files have to be copied into the da-DK language directory via FTP. Why this is only accepted in the frontend is difficult to answer. The translation is not quite current (v4.1.0), but most backend parameters should be translated.
As an idea, clear browser and joomla cache and try a different Joomla! standard backend template.
Kind regards,
Benno
