What does this error mean?

HI all,

I am still working at trying to get Joomla's phoca gallery up and running again... but when I try to upload pictures now I get the following message

wjhk.jupload.policies.pictureuploadpolicy.checkuploads():the string"^success" was not found in the response body

What do I do where do I go!

Hi,

Novice users of Phoca having a problem with the follwing error in JUPLOAD in the Upload multiple images JAVA tab. we get the following error:
13:04:40.597 [ERROR] [wjhk.jupload2.exception.JUploadExceptionUploadFailed] wjhk.jupload2.policies.PictureUploadPolicy.checkUploadSuccess(): The string "^SUCCESS$" was not found in the response body (wjhk.jupload2.policies.PictureUploadPolicy.checkUploadSuccess(): The string "^SUCCESS$" was not found in the response body)

Now, we are aware that other users have experienced the same problem and we have tried to follow the threads and resolve the problem, but without avail. Can anyone help with this?

I can note that we are sure that is a server-side problem; we have tried all manner of browsers and OS but get the same error.

Any suggestions are welcome and gratefully appriciated.

Phoca version 2.5.7 Beta.
Joomla! 1.5.14 Stable
php 5.2.6

No idea what can be wrong, I know on some servers the java upload can have problems and on some browsers too, but I have tested it everwhere I can and got no such problems
