I am probably missing something very simple, but for the life of me, I cannot find it! We have a pet groomer that would like to allow clients to upload their favorite pictures of their pets. The main category is called The Perfect Cut Family. Clients register, login and then create their category and upload their photos. Here is problem one. When a user creates a category, it is not automatically assigned to the Parent Category and must manually be changed from the backend. Problem 2 is that if I use Cool Iris to display the photos, I cannot select the Parent Category or all of the categories to display and Problem 3 is if I use the Random Image Generator, it will not tree down through the categories to select a photo. Is there a way to accomplish these three things??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Selecting Parent Category and displaying all sub-categories
Hi,
- creating of more categories in frontend is planned
- yes, in cooliris you can see only the selected category
- yes, Random image only get images from selected category if you will set a category. (searching in all tree needs to be customized as this can take a lot of memory on the server
