Itemid is incorrect

Hello, and thank you for such a terrific gallery! I am experiencing a mysterious problem I hope you can help with.

I have two sites configure identically, however one site continues to post the wrong URL when pressing the Category back link. I understand that you can set parameters in the PhocaGallery parameters and also in the menu item parameters.

When pressing the main menu "Gallery" the correct display come up with this URL:
http://referencetrees.com/index.php?opt ... &Itemid=17

When selecting a category the correct display also comes up with this URL:
http://referencetrees.com/index.php?opt ... &Itemid=17

However when pressing the category list "back" icon the incorrect display comes up with this URL:
http://referencetrees.com/index.php?opt ... &Itemid=10

Selecting one of these categories gives the wrong formatting for the images as well with this URL:
http://referencetrees.com/index.php?opt ... &Itemid=10

I have tried recreating the main menu item and everything else I can think of, but the problem persists. One site works fine, the other continues to post the wrong URL. If I manually type in the correct Itemid=17 then the display is perfect. Any suggestions?

Hi, seems like on your site there is still itemid=10 (menu to Phoca Gallery categories) active, this menu link needs to be removed so other parts will not use it.

Thank you for such a quick response! I checked the menu item manager and there is a menu item for Phoca Gallery >> Categories with itemid = 17 but there is no other Phoca gallery menu item with itemid = 10. Is this what you were referring to?

Hello, and thanks for the suggestion. Well, I didn't think of the trash bin, but there were several items there. Unfortunately, deleting them all did not help. There was not an Itemid=10 anyway.

Any other thoughts....?

Hi,

clear cache (joomla and browser cache). Identify menu item id 10 (and if you found it, save it again). Resave the current Phoca Gallery menu item.

These are all things I can think of...

Hello,

Thanks for your help! I cleared everything clearable and was not able to find any Itemid=10 anywhere, so no solution yet.

However, I created an additional Phoca Gallery >> Categories menu item while keeping the original, and for some reason it reset the mysterious and elusive Itemid=10 to the proper Itemid=17 and everything now works???? One of the mysteries of life I suppose.
