Hi, apologies in advance I am a newbie...
I am building a site with a Standard JA Purity (Joomla 1.5.11) template and Phoca Gallery 2.2.4 and IE7.
My problem is if I use the front end flash upload, the menu and modules all drop below the central article pane (below the flash uploader). Please please help...this doesn't happen with FF.
By the way I have read other threads with IE 7, tied just about every suggestion...it could be me and my understanding.
I love your work...and would love this to work.
Many thanks in advance.
Keith

Re: JA Purity Phoca Gallery IE7 problem
Hi Carolien
Thanks for your question, and yes, it was the same for Milky Way. I have solved it however, but now have a different problem.
How I solved my orginal problem? Since posting, I updated my Java platform to Version 6 Update 14 (build 1.6.0_14-b08). Doing this completely broke the front end upload.
The Java applet started loading, and never completed. The Java upload in the backend however worked. I remembered reading another thread on this (whilst trying to fix my orginal problem) and decided to implement Jan's code suggestions. The thread is viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4304&start=0&hilit=java+upload.
This not only fixed the Java hang, but also fixed the Menu below the upload component in the article pane for JA Purity!
Thanks Jan/Carolien
