Problem with uploads

Post by cousinjay »

It's been a couple of months since I've done anything with my site. The last Time I updated, this was all working.

Today, however, I went to upload some pictures on the back end and I have no ability to select or browse my files. What I'm getting is three blocks (that are not active) saying "browse" "start upload" and "clear completed". I have the same problem with all my workstations, so I'm pretty sure it's not OS issues.

I have two domains that are hosted by the same host, (siteground.com) and the other site/domain works fine.

Any ideas?

Hi, if you mean flash uploader, it doesn't work if you have installed Adobe flash plugin 10 on your OS.

I have exactly the same problem. I use the basic uploader. Flash uploader is disabled.
How can I solve this?

Hi, if you are using the single upload, the selecting of files needs to be displayed as this is a part of OS, try to check it with some other browser?

Try to check if the flash upload is not eanbled in Phoca Gallery parameters.

I now I see what I did wrong. I disabled flash upload in Joomla but not in the phoca extension itself.
Thanks Jan for your help! Great.

This depends on Joomla.org developers as Phoca Gallery uses Joomla! framework this must be included here.

If Joomla! will not include flash uploader in future, then I will implement own for Phoca Gallery but for such solution the mootools 1.2 is needed and mootools 1.2 will be available in Joomla! 1.6
