Shadowbox function doesn't work

Hello,
I recently downloaded the Phoca Gallery extension and installed it on my Joomla 1.5.10 site, but I can't get the shadowbox function to work. From what I understand I need a plugin of some kind, but since I'm very new to Joomla and by no means an experienced programmer, I have no idea how to go about it!
Could someone please help me with instructions how to install the plugin (and which one I should download, where to find it etc). I'd be ever so grateful!

Hi,

Could you please check if you have Phoca Gallery 2.2.4 running (this version fixed a bug with shadowbox & ie8).
To get the shadowbox appearing you don't need to install anything else besides phoca gallery.

I seem to be experiencing the same issue. modal box, standard popup, highslide and overlib all work great, but the one i would like to use the most is not working for me shadow box. i would give you a link but the site is under local development right now. i have attached a screenshot of what is displayed with the shadow box settings. I have tried to reinstall and click on upgrade, and reinstall and click on install. I am using joomla 1.5.10 and phoca gallery 2.2.4. it seems to just ignore the shadowbox JS and just directly display the file in the browser (firefox 3.0.10 with OS Ubuntu 8.10) I am running Java Version 6 Update 10 and firefox java plugin 1.6.0_10-b33. great components and other extensions, thanks for all your work. any help is appreciated.
