Hi,
I honestly hid a parent category and showed some subcategories in my list (so I was really glad it wasn't automatically hidden too). There is a setting to hide all subcategories by the way. Otherwise you just have to enter the id's of the subcategories too.

Hi, it is hard to say which solution is the right, if you set hiding some category and
a) subcategories will be displayed, then you can say it is not logical
b) subcategories will be hidden, then you can say, I have set the e.g. category 3 will be hidden, why is category 5 hidden. I didn't set 5 should be hidden.
