Can you add upload power by usergroup yet?

I did some searching for this, and I saw posts from 2012 saying it would be added later. I installed Phoca but not seeing it yet, just to make sure, wondering if we can do upload functionality by Usergroup yet, not individual members?

Not completely sure this does what I need. I want all site visitors able to view my image galleries (whether registered or not), but I want a specificjoomla usergroup to have upload capabilities, rather than manually adding the Upload ability to individuals.

Hi, see similar posts in this forum, this is still under review.

There are two groups of users. one wants to have it for specific users - as mostly they define the rights for each user - each user has category where to upload (in case more people use it, they use one login for more people) and the second needs to have it for groups. It is cca 60% to 40%

And it is really hard to set a) or b) and a)b) together - All options have pros and cons (a)b) - means to have upload rights set by groups and users is the problematic one).

So it is in feature request list but really no idea if there will be some changes regarding this feature The best and quickest method is to customize it directly for your needs now
