Latest Uploaded Photos

I am using Phoca Gallery to show photos uploaded by members to my site but can't find anything that will display the latest uploaded photos. I am having continual complaints from my members that they do not know which are the latest photos uploaded to the gallery until they enter a category. I am even being asked to change the gallery which I do not want to unless there is no other options.
Is there anything that I can add to have a link to the categories where the latest added photos are?
I have found things that refer to latest downloads but nothing that relates to latest uploads.

Hi, really no idea, I thougt it should be released 1/2 year ago but I am overloaded for now so cannot say when I will be able to release it (the same with fixing phoca gallery search plugin )

do we have this version updated now or not? Also i want to know is there any other way which i can use to show the items without using a menu item i.e. I want to show the latest three items uploaded but i dont want to show this on a menu item click. How else can i achieve that?
