Categories and Subcategories!

Hi there!
I have installed the Joomla 3.4.3 and Phoca Gallery 4.2.1.
This is the task. I want to make a view maincategories with subcatigories. For example 2009 with the subcat. Jan. and Feb.
I uploaded the directory 2009 including the directory Jan. with 5 pics and the directory feb. with 6 pics. in the phocagallery folder.
So I have this structure:
==phocagallery
====2009
======jan.
======feb.
Afterwards a open the phoca gallery component and used the multiply image upload. Everything worked fine. I have the categorie 2009 and the subcat. Jan. an Feb. including the pictures with thumbs.
Then I created a Menu with categorie view. Because the maincategorie 2009 don't contains eny pictures I set the option of radom image.
So when I click on the menu gallery a created phoca shows me 3 thumbs with describtion 2009, 2009/jan., 2009/feb.
But because I want to that only 2009 schould be only shown so I set in the opition of phoca the "show subcategories" on "no". So when I now click on the menu gallerys only 2009 with a random thumb was shown. But when I click on 2009 there is a message "Sorry the search side could not be found". When I set back in options that subcategories are shown and when I click on the subcategories the images where displayed. But when I click on 2009 the message comes again. "Sorry the searched side could not be found".
What I have in mind is that when I click on the menu gallery I see all the maincategories like 2009, 2010 etc. and when I click on 2009 then the categories jan. and feb. should be displayed.
I read the documation in english and german and read many postings in the forum but I can't find anything that helped me.
I think for the proffessionals is this a small problem. I hope you can helb me.

Kategorien Ansicht (Liste der Kategorien) oder Kategorie Ansicht (Liste der Bilder) ?

Die URL wäre hilfreich..

Liste der Kategorien hab ich genommen.

URL ist leider nicht möglich da ich die Seite auf einem virtuellen Server erstelle.

mmmhh, also mit:

backend --> Komponenten --> Phoca Gallery --> Kontrollzentrum --> Optionen --> Kategorien Ansicht --> Kategorien Ansicht - Einstellungen -->
Leere Kategorien anzeigen=Ja
Unterkategorien anzeigen=Nein
Speichern & Schließen
backend --> Komponenten --> Phoca Gallery --> Kontrollzentrum --> Optionen --> Kategorien Ansicht --> Kategorie Ansicht - Einstellungen -->
Bild anstelle des Verzeichnis Icons anzeigen=Ja
Bildsortierung=Spezial
Speichern & Schließen

sollte diese Meldung nicht mehr auftauchen.

Da Du jetzt wahrscheinlich in der Kategorien Ansicht für die Kategorie 2009 nur das Dateiicon angezeigt bekommst, lädst Du in die Kategorie 2009 ein Bild hoch, autorisierst es aber nicht. Dann wird diese Bild zwar als 'Bild anstelle des Verzeichnisicons angezeigt', nicht aber in der Kategorie 2009.

hab ich so gemacht.
jetzt zeigt er zwar an das in der 2009 Kategorie ein Bild vorhanden ist aber wenn ich drauf clicke kommt wieder:
Es tut uns Leid, die von Ihnen gesuchte Seite konnte nicht gefunden werden.
Er zeigt mir aber ein Zufallsthumb aus den beiden unterkategorien an. Irgendwie scheint die verlinkung nicht zu funktionieren.

mmmaaah manchmal sieht man den baum vor lauter menüs nicht....
habs schon gefunden. muß natürlich ein menüpunkt machen das auf die Kategorie 2009 geht.
also menü -> liste der kategorien
u. menü -> 2009 -> liste der bilder.
