newbie question

Hi everybody,
After trying 3-4 photo gallery scripts, I'm going to take on Phoca now. Have read through documentation and features. However unfortunately there are no any links to actual sites, galleries that were built on Phoca. I'll appreciate if you provide me with some links, or links to links... ))

Besides I would appreciate if experienced users take a look at below needs of mine and tell me if those needs can be met in Phoca or not:

1 Having an A-Z alphabet on the frontpage as a starting navigation panel to browse my albums (I suppose it's realizable through Gallery tree, with each Letter assigned to Category on top level of my album hierarchy)
2 Let my users to rate and comment on photos
3 Display on the frontpage top 5 list of best rated photos
4 Display on the frontpage top 5 list of best rated albums
5 Display on the frontpage top 5 list of most viewed photos
6 Display on the frontpage top 5 list of most viewed albums
7 Display on the frontpage list of last updates to the albums showing the name of album, date and the number of pics recently uploaded (preferrably linked to the mentioned album)
8 Look for duplicate images within gallery, preferrably check for duplication when new pic is uploaded
9 Let selected users to upload photos to albums

I'm all of those questions were already discussed and answered, but in fact I was unable to find them out searching in the forum.

Even on extensions.joomla.org there is a link to this page. Or on the phoca gallery product page. And it's the second link on Google.com (if you search for Phoca Gallery)

Only per category possible - and this one you should have found in the forums (it's been a feature request for a long time)

no, when adding images via multiple add and ticking folders, only the 'new' images are added

9 Let selected users to upload photos to albums

yes - you should have read that in the documentation - on the features page for example or the user upload page.

P.S. When asking for demos, I meant some external sites that actually used Phoca, not your own illustration. Sorry for making it "difficult" to understand (

Hi,

The main advantage of this demo website (which isn't mine, and that you could have checked by hovering over the 'www' icon on the right) is that all features are displayed.

Why do you want to see external sites that actually used Phoca?

To measure popularity: I think that 93 reviews on extensions.joomla.org, which are mostly 5 starred say a lot.

By the way: Most Phoca Galleries have a backlink to Phoca. So searching on Google does the trick:
