First of all I have to say that I'm a newbie in Joomla and I don't have any experiences with picture galleries
Is it possible to implement the phoca gallery ,or in general a picture gallery (component), via a menu (module). There aren't explanations about calling a menu via a module.
You can see the menu at the top of the following page: http://sccg09.cockerspaniel-gehren.de/. What I want is to add a button on the right side of the menu which links when clicked to the picture gallery.
Does anybody have an idea?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
see this: http://docs.joomla.org/Beginners#Explor ... v_1.5_Core
And then click: 'create a custom HTML module'
otherwise go search the 'extensions directory' http://extensions.joomla.org
Or create a menu module, with only one menu-item
Regards, Carolien

However, I already have a module-menu (go to "http://sccg09.cockerspaniel-gehren.de", the 7 round buttons) or, in other words, I don't want to create a new module.

Hi,
If you want to create a menu-link - it's in the documentation, and I suppose you read that already, 'cause there's a READ THIS FIRST BEFORE POSTING topic in this board.

Re: Implement phoca gallery via a module
Yes, I want to create a menu link, but he documentation only refers to the creation of menu links via the tab "Menus", which you normally use to create a "new menu or a new menu button". But, I already have a navigation, which, however, is a module where you can define pictures and links for the buttons. But I don´t have any link. According to the documentation you create a menu link by creating "new menu or new menu button", what i don't want. Though, I could copy the created link into the module parameters, but what should i do whit this new "menu or button" i created. Can I deactivate the "menu or button", without killing the link?
Sorry for my bad English, I'm from Germany.

Hi,
use the method described in this FAQ to create a menu link, which isn't displayed: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/14-phoca- ... gin/97-faq
