Sorting and new additions

There are two things I need to do.

First, is there a plugin, module or any other ability to display the last xx pictures added? Not by category, but I need this to look at all categories.

Second, Is there a way to sort the pictures by date added?

Hi,
1) done but not ready yet, because of different javascripts which should be loaded in the sites (need to be changed in component too becasue of possible conflicts between module and component)
