How do I disable Character Limit?

I was wondering if there was a way to disalbe the character limit... or atleast have it not visble... I personally am not a big fan of these... perhaps a code I need to edit?

The control panel component... you know... the one were users upload there photo's..... if I need to provide more info than this, let me know.

So, you mean the Phoca Gallery...

no, you can change the character limit (you can set it to your own value) but it cannot be disabled, this need to be customized...
