ERROR: 1146 after upgrade to Joomla 3.3.0

Good morning,

I've got a problem with phoca gallery after upgrading my Joomla to a 3.3.0 version.
After upgrading I upgrade phoca gallery too. My actual version is 4.1.1

In administrator backend I have the possibilty to do everything without problems, uploading pictures and doing everything correctly.

In front end, when I click in photo section in my website I'm linked in this error:

ERROR: 1146 - TABLE 'SQL285341_4.ALE17_PHOCAGALLERY_STYLES' DOESN'T EXIST SQL=SELECT A.FILENAME AS FILENAME, A.TYPE AS TYPE, A.MENULINK AS MENULINK FROM ALE17_PHOCAGALLERY_STYLES AS A WHERE A.PUBLISHED = 1 ORDER BY A.TYPE, A.ORDERING ASC

What should I do?

Hi, the table phocagallery_styles is not set in your database, so you need to reinstall Phoca Gallery or add the table manually:

I have the same problem. It's irritating that the backend shows everything's ok but the newly created link doesn't work. The solution offered by Jan is not very useful, because there is no install.bak in the root of the com_phocagallery_v4.1.1 - file I downloaded today. Is there any other possibility to complete the database?

Hi, the guide about install.bak is for previous versions - since Joomla! 3 and Phoca Gallery 4, there is no more install.bak but you can find the sql file in standard folder:

install/sql/mysql/install.utf8.sql

How, exactly can I restore or import the file 'install/sql/mysql/install.utf8.sql'? Its direct in 'import' of PHPmyAdmin?

I'm affraid to remove my data if I do something wrong...

Hi, you can copy and paste the sql query and run it in phpMyAdmin - yes this will overwrite all data in Phoca Gallery tables.

Always you should do backup before running sql queries in your database
