Does Phoca Gallery have a version that supports animation?

Hi, no there is no option to support e.g. animation gifs.
There is a support for videos (YouTube) so the animation can be stored as video, but standard GIF animation "is not supported" (in case you will do own thumbnails - own animated gifs - in different sizes, then there is no problem to display the animated images.
So:
- displaying animated images is not limited
- but creating animated thumbnails is not implemented (Not sure if this is possible with GD library on the server)

in Phoca Gallery thumbnails are created by GD library on the server, in case, you have own thumbnails of images you are using, then they will be not more created. So in case you will upload images include their thumbnails to server, Phoca Gallery will not create new thumbnails - so e.g. your animated gifs will be not overwritten.
