404 when clicking on thumbnail - SEO problem?

Hello,
I have installed latest Phoca Gallery version with joomla 1.5.8.. I have turned SEO-Feature on and suddenly i get a 404-error:

404 - Komponente nicht gefunden!

Sie können diese Seite nicht besuchen da:

1. Ein veraltetes Lesezeichen
2. Eine Suchmaschine hat einen veralteten Index der Website
3. Eine falsche Adresse
4. Sie haben keinen Zugriff zu dieser Seite!
5. Die angefragte Quelle wurde nicht gefunden!
6. Während Ihrer Anfrage ist ein Fehler aufgetreten!

When i turn off seo, its working. What are the path problems and how can i solve this?

Hi, All path in Phoca are created by JRoute which is a standard Joomla! framework method and the SEO should work (see demo site: https://www.phoca.cz/phocagallery/demo/ ), so maybe there is some problem with URL creating on your site but where ???

Hello Jan,
thanks for your reply. I really dont know whats going on, every other URLs are created successfully. Only the phoca URL to the images are not working. I really dont know what to do. The site is 99 % finished I just have to fix this problem. The site is temporary offline, would it be helpful to post you some admin data to see whats going on? I really dont know much about seo feature, so i think i need professional help here.

Are you using the Phoca Gallery plugin, or Random image module, when this problem appears?

No Im just using the gallery plugin. I really cant figure it out what the problem is The link did not help much

Do you have a menu link to a Phoca Gallery category (or category list) and does the problem appear when you click on a image in the gallery?

or did you add an image to an article with {phocagallery view} code and does the problem appear then?

Could you post a link to the site where the problem appears?

hello caro,
sorry i think i missunderstood something.

I just need phocagallery to shop 8 simple images, nothing more. Im not using random image or phocagallery view.

I have set a menu-link to "Phoca Gallery Category Layout" to show my simple gallery. The problem appears, when i click on a thumbnail.

The site is normally offline, im going to activate for you know, maybe you can see anything more.

I see what you mean...
for others: the link to the detailview is:
http://www.thedomain.com/index.php/bildergalerie/1/detail/1-appelbaum3?tmpl=component

I don't know the solution, but maybe some things you can try:
- set the menu type again - or change it to something else (list layout), and then change it back. It might recreate the correct URL's
- try another detailview (Highslide gives other links)

i have deleted and recreated the menu link. I used list category.

See what now happens. It is a SEO Problem for sure. It also cant show the category itself... What now?!

maybe a stupid question, but is your category open for public (it must be if it works without SEO).

I don't know the solution...Could you play with your SEO settings a bit?
