Lo,
I'm using joomla! Version 1.5.8 and Phoca Gallery 2.1.0 RC. I'm a newbie about phoca.
I checked the media manager of joomla and it works fine.
When i'm trying to use the "Multiple Add" Button, i get a new page with a "Browse files" button. But this button do nothing. i checked javascript, all options are switched on.
So what ?! I'm confused.

Re: Multiple Add Problem - Browse files button
Hey,
Since I upgraded Phoca I've a problem with "multiple add".
As it's writen in the red box, I disabled flash uploader in Phoca Gallery Parameters. But then we can't upload many photos in one time, right ?
I tried by "management of medias" (sorry, i don't know the English name) but by this way too I can't upload many pics in one time, I only can select one file. And I've many pics to put so...it's too long!!
Before, with Phoca 1.8 I could upload many pics in one time...should be come back to Phoca 1.8 ?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
if you want to upload lots of files, why don't you use FTP?
Regards, Carolien
P.S. the upload manager in Phoca Gallery uses the media manager is Joomla!, so as long as it isn't possible in the media manager, it isn't possible too in Phoca Gallery.

Thanks Caro for your answer.
==> Because I can't always use FTP. My website (TravelSteph.com) is a travel blog and I need to be able to put pics from every computer (cyberespace) and sometimes I can't use FTP software.caro84g wrote:if you want to upload lots of files, why don't you use FTP?
==> Ok. So currently the only way to add many pics together is by FTP ?caro84g wrote:P.S. the upload manager in Phoca Gallery uses the media manager is Joomla!, so as long as it isn't possible in the media manager, it isn't possible too in Phoca Gallery.

Re: Multiple Add Problem - Browse files button
Hi,
the problem is with the media manager that only with flash upload you can select multiple files. So it's not the Phoca Gallery version that's causing the problem, but the fact that you disabled flash upload. (which you need to do if you have flash uploader 10). If you have flash uploader 9, you can enable flash upload and upload all pics you want.
In the Joomla! extensions directory there are some extensions available as far as I know, where you can manage your FTP files with. This might be a solution.

it sure is, but that's computer and browser dependent... and if you use a lot of different computers...

Yes, but often I use "old" computer and if it's new, I can use USB Key with Portable FileZilla
