Phoca Gallery does not work.

Hi everybody,

First of all, I really love Phoca Gallery: I use it for all my clients.
Now I got a problem. I set up a Joomla site with Joomla! 3.2.1. Sadly enough, this joomla version did not support Phoca Gallery 3 in which it was possible to show the categories (category view) in a list. Unless, I tried to install Joomla 3.

This did not work so I uninstalled it and tried to install Phoca Gallery 4. This did not work out directly but after a couple of tries, I did get it installed.
The problem is that I am able to access the control panel but I am not able to open the menu item that I assigned to phoca gallery. Thereby, I cannot have it uninstalled as it is not displayed in the extension manager.

Does anybody know what to do now?

Hi, Phoca Gallery 3.x is Joomla! 2.5 component. Phoca Gallery 4.x is Joomla! 3 component.

If you have installed the previous version in Joomla! 3, this can mean, something is wrongly set in database, so I think, you need to remove all possible items from the dabase, before installing right Phoca Gallery version, see:
