Hi everyone,
I have searched in the documentation, on the forum, and online but I didn't find a solution for my issue. All my apologies if this question has already been asked.
When I have installed Phoca Gallery, everything was well. But the menu wasn't created in the "Extensions" menu of Joomla. I have Joomla "2.5.14" and Phoca Gallery "com_phocagallery_v3.2.6.zip". Joomla is on a Xampp installation and I have full control on the "htdocs" directory.
I tried the following actions without success :
- Uninstall and reinstall Phoca Gallery
- Install upgrade
- Install on an other site
- Adapt the solution for a same issue with phocapdf
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... m-manually
I can access Phoca Gallery with the URL link but it would be easier with a menu.
Could you help me ?
Thanks,
Olivier

Re: Phoca Gallery installation - No menu
Hi, try to use this forum for similar posts or joomla.org forum, this in fact has nothing to do with the component, but it is a joomla menu issue - Mostly removing the component from the system: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... m-manually - helps. So if this didn't help maybe re-installation from Joomla! will help

Hi Jan,
Your answer did not help me. The link is the same as I wrote on my post.
I will continue to seek a solution. Maybe a compatibility issue with the version of MySQL or PHP that I use.
Thanks,
Olivier

Hi, then really no idea, this was common problem in Joomla! (you can see solved topics e.g. on joomla.org forum - there were some problem while updateing it) ... mostly the completely removinng and reinstallation did help (as in database there were mostly set the menu links to not published
)
