Placing root user categories under main site gallery

Post by brunp »

I have been looking through all the settings and documentation and can't seem to find an answer. My site has one root photo gallery with a couple public galleries. When users are created in joomla, I want their root main category to be a sub-category of either the root photo gallery of the main site, or a sub-category called "User Submitted Photo's".

Underneath, the username would show up and then the sub-categories that users generate underneath.

Right now, when a user logs in, and creates their main category, it sits along side the root photo gallery and is not visible since we use the root photo gallery ID as the source for the menu link.

Please let me know if you need any more information. I would have hoped I would find an answer by now, but I have been searching all morning.

Hi, for now there is no such feature, so this needs to be customized for the gallery :-(

Hi, I am sorry, but I really don't know your skills to tell you if you are able to customize it
