[solved]Size of the Slideshow is wrong

Hello,

i use latest phoca gallery with slideshow plugin on the startpage. the images which are shown have a width of 480px, but i configured the maximum for the page of 900px. i have looked into the configuration of phoca but cant find any number like 480px also the plugin of the text has ..|width=900|height=666... is this a bug or where can i configure the width of the slideshow image? images are also in Large with 900x666px and i recreated the thumbs and also try it with deleting the old and reupload the images. any ideas?

Hi, the plugin does not set the size of images, they are set by component, so depends on component settings (and of course the image can have e.g. smaller width or height in case the ratio does not reflect the sizes set in parameters - to not destroy the image while resizing)

Hello Jan,
ok you say it doesnt matter what i gave the plugin for a width or hight in the article and the component is the place to settup the size? mh i can setup the image as original, large, small and midrange... the picture has the size, the component is setup right and shows in gallery view the correct image in large, which i setup in the plugin too. but the picture is shown only half of that. i disabled crop but where is the faiure?

Hi, sorry for misunderstanding, I thought about Phoca Gallery Plugin not about Phoca Gallery Slideshow Plugin, yes both parameters (height, width) are active and can set the size for the slideshow (the javascript will set the sizes in case the width and height will be set) ... Testing now and works ok for me, no destroy - if I have set 640 x 480 in components and set crop (means the ratio is ignored) and the thumbnails have size 640 x 480 and I set this size for plugin ... no problem ... Try to see the slideshow in Firefox with webdeveloper toolbar and set to display default sizes for images (to test if the thumbnails are Ok and compare with the settings for the plugin )
