How to center the display in a category

Hello everybody,

can anybody tell me how to center the content of a category on my website?

As u can see in the link below are the shown pictures of my album (category) on the left side of the page.
But I want to have them in the middle of the page.

backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Display --> General Settings --> Phoca Gallery Width=(Try out a value, e.g.)600
Phoca Gallery Center=Yes(Categories View, Category View or both)
Save & Close

but this don´t work.
Because the gallery shows 3 pictures side by side (like at the moment) and if I change the settings u told me, it show 4 images side by side.
But the 4th don´t appears in the full size.
There´s a "cut" in the middle of the element, if u understand what i´m meaning.

I don´t want the gallery to display more pictures parallel I just want to center the normal count (3)

That's why I recommended you to try out a matching value. 600 was only an example.

I understand that 600 was just an example.

But the matter is, up to 567 it shows 3 pictures, from 568 it shows 4 pictures :/
And it still don´t center it ...

Hi,
try to check Phoca Gallery centering with a standard template like Beez_20 is.
It's possible that your template overwrite some Phoca Gallery settings.

Is there another way? If I set a fixed width I will loose my responsive design for mobile devices.

Hi, this is the common problem, there is float left and float right methods/attributes in html/css but no float center - you can do some html tricks like margin: 0 auto but this mostly works with fixed width, you can try to center it with help of javascript method too.
