add background image!

hi everyone
i wanna add background image to image box in category view ...not backgrounf for the image ..i wanna add a background for the complete box that shows everything like icons and image...where should i do that? i tried to change the phocagallery.css and add background image but i didnt worked!
please help! tnx

Hi, then this needs to be customized in the code, in css - for the phoca gallery first box, just see the html code for the category view.

i'm completely confused!
would you please say where should i exactly change the css? i tried many change in CSS but nothing happend!
and would you please say where can i change the background image of the name of image that comes below the picture in category view?

Hi, for now I have no experiences with customizing the whole box, so cannot give any exactly advice ( forum-rules.php (9) )

so you need to test the customize the phoca gallery css:
components\com_phocagallery\assets\phocagallery.css

maybe the first block:
