Hi, I am not programmer of this java upload script so maybe this should be question on developer of this script
It's a clear statement, isn't it?
If you want to use it, ask the developer of the skript or try a different gallery. The upload-applet of ICE i.e. works fine, but I don't like this gallery.
Regards
Michael

I think there is a trouble with access to java applet from user backend while uploading:
1. when I trying to upload images as a user, I have an answer "Applet not found".
2. if I login as Superuser in AdminPanel, then open upload JavaApplet in AdminPanel, then later try to upload as a user - it works. I think browser uses applet from cache (i.e. the path is correct from user backend).
May be I should to copy applet to another dir - not in /administator/* and fix *.php for user backend?
Solved. It's because of the browser Opera: with IE & Mozilla all is ok.

Hello,
I have the same problem, but on Windows XP, with FF 3.5 (I also try on OSX with FF3.0).
In fact, I never found a way to use the java uploader
I'm using Phocagallery 2.5.6 and each time I try to use the java applet, I get the same error after minutes of loading :
Exception : java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: wjhk.jupload2.JUploadApplet
Any idea how to fix it ? Is JumpLoader a good "bypass" solution ?
Best regards,
mhammout
! UPDATE !
Finally, I installed Joomla Flash Upload (
http://www.tinywebgallery.com/en/tfu/web_jfu.php) and it saved my life

even if I have first to upload the images before creating the galleries...
Note for admin : maybe you could add this component (I mean the flash) to PhocaGallery natively ?
