I am having the same issue... anytime I go into images or categories through Phoca control panel and try to "Add" anything I get redirected to the main Joomla control panel. I am on Windows hosting (Godaddy) with IIS7, PHP 5.x and MySQL4.1. Installation is okay with all tables from the install.bak file showing fine. This is a fresh Joomla 1.5.11 installation with no sample content installed. The only other third party component installed is Community Builder.

In addition, if I enable the user control panel through parameters and try to add a category by that method I get a 500-internal server error.

This looks like a great component from everything I have seen and I am dying to get it working and look forward to donating what I can when it is :)

Good work.

Unfortunately I don't believe there is any way of seeing my PHP error log from a hosted account on godaddy except during a restore procedure :x

This must be something with godaddy and maybe specific to godaddy windows hosting since the previous poster had the same experience and looks to have the same configuration as I do.

Just for troubleshooting I just tried the Phoca Download application and it did the exact same thing as the gallery application. I am a long time Joomla user and I don't believe I have seen this same problem before where clicking on an action returns to the Joomla control panel... even on godaddy, so there must be something common between the Phoca applications that is causing this, probably conflicting with something on godaddy. Interesting, but I still have no idea why.
