Why doesn't category show up?

Hello everyone
I have created some categories and their subcategories in phoca gallery
Category
Evenementen
------ 2013
--------------- BBQ
--------------- Clubfeest
--------------- Verrebroek kermis
------ 2014
--------------- Nieuwjaarsreceptie
------ Indoor vliegen
--------------- Fotos GVA
Fotoarchief
------ De Oude doos

Unfortunately, the photo gallery of Evenementen 2014 is not showing on the website??
What am i doing wrong

I guess I just make a stupid mistake somewhere, but can't figure out what it is.

Can someone please assist?

are ok, but not assigned to category 2014 (is category 2014 publised & authorized??)

Yes,
all categories and subcategories are published and authorized..

Hi,
try to check if you hide some categories (perhaps for testing.. )
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Options --> Categories View Settings --> Hide Categories

I checked the settings and I indeed overlooked a setting.
There where is says id of categories to show.
It goes upto number 10.
The newly created categories had an id above that number.
I now added id's upto 15 and everything is ok.

Would it not be a good idea to incorporate an extra setting in one of the next releases to allow the administrator to set the option whether he wants the categories to be shown by id or not?
That way you can cross off this option and either show everything or (in the other case) the selected categories?

Normally you don't need this setting. If you leave the fields (show categories & hide categories) empty, all created, published and authorized categories should be visible...
