I need thumbnails in ftp

Hello,
I couldn't get my media manager to load any more images, so I had to resort to uploading with ftp. Worked fine except that I have to have the thumbnails. How do I get the thumbnails uploaded for the gallery? I hope this is possible.

More questions: I discovered the images I had uploaded in media manager where they were supposed to be and this is the message I got when trying to generate a thumbnail. I did make sure I had permission with those files. Please help.

Hi, see Phoca Forum rules, you can paste images e.g. per external service like Imgur is.

Uploading images per FTP is in fact default action - I do it only per ftp - this is default feature - you upload images and folders and subfolders to your server - to images/phocagallery folder - then you go to multiple add in Phoca Gallery administration and images will be transformed to thumbnails, folders to categories and subfolders to subcategories.

I will work on that if I have to keep on loading with ftp. Right now images are loading once again in the phoca images page like they're supposed to. I was searching around everywhere and I found one place where the permission was not turned on. After I fixed that, the images started loading again.

But of course, another problem cropped up! I am trying to add one more category to the gallery and this time it won't work. I have the category and it is full of images but it will not show on the front end. Now what could be different about this category when all the others are showing? I have 7 categories showing and this 8th one won't show. .........always something!

Jan, the categories were added just by going to Categories/New/, filling in the title, alias, etc etc and checking the correct category from the drop down list. Then Save and Close. Did I leave anything out?

One category is CALENDARS and one is PIXEL ART.

If you think it could be a data base problem, please tell me how to go there. I've never had to go there before and don't know how. I really need to get this fixed so I can publish and be done!

Hmmm, is the category:

- active
- approved
- does it has right access (public, not selected user)
