Image upload issue

Today I sensed the following:

When I got to Images-->New and after this I click on the "Select file" button I get a big white pop-up window and I can not upload any file.

What is the problem? I hope you can help in this problem.

Hi, if you get blank page, this mostly means a php error, try to enable php error reporting and debug mode to see the problem there.

Hi, I enabled the error reporting function in the php.ini and the debug mode in the Joomla CMS, but there is nothing strange in the database queries
no displayed error message. I'm clueless.

Hi, try to see the source code (html code in your browser of the white page)

Are you really sure, the error reporting is enabled and php errors are displayed on your server
