Google+ another pages album sync error

Post by Balazs »

I read "Displaying Google Picasa Web Albums (or Google Plus Web Albums)" documentation, but it doesn't solve my problem. If I create another Google+ page for example education page or business page, therefore it hasn't created own Picasa page, thus if I set private share to my schools albums, then the simple Google+ secret key is incorrect, hence the Phoca Gallery doesn't sync to my schools albums.

Is there any solution to this problem?

Best regards,

Hi, I didn't find any such solution yet and I have searched a lot of page describing this problem.
So for now - you can display images from Google+ if they are public or if they are private but the images are stored in Picasa too.
But as you wrote, for now I didn't find any solution to display Google+ images which are not public per the key as the Google+ key does not work like Picasa key  :-(

Good news. I found the solution.

I write it, how to do:

1. I created private shared album with my main Google+ account.
2. I went to my main Picasa page, and I searched the new private album's auth key.
3. I copied first six characters my auth key, this is the hidden prefix.
4. I created private shared album with my second Google+ account (Elementary school Google+ page).
5. I went to this album, and I searched the new private album's auth key.
6. I went to Phoca Gallery Picasa (Google+) setting.
7. I filled User's and Album's fields.
8. I filled Authentication Key field. The right form of the auth key is the first 6 character generated in the 3. point and the generated key from the 5. point merged together.

Maybe you could complete the "Displaying Google Picasa Web Albums (or Google Plus Web Albums)" documentation.
