How to remove the date field appearing in the images

Hi Jan:
I do not want the date to appear on my images. No matter what I try I get the date, if I remove the date, ti shows the current date and it appears on all the image sin my subcategories. How do I disable this?

Which Phoca Gallery & which Joomla! version do you use?
