Category Description not showing

Joomla 2.5.17
Okay, I've created 3 categories with numerous sub categories.
I've created three menu items and each menu item type is: List of Images(category view).
When I click on one of my menus on the front end, all of my categories assigned to that menu shows on the page.
I would like the category description to show in each box there. I've read lots of documentation and I've searched these message boards but i can't seem to find an answer.
I can't use the menu type "List of Categories(Categories view)" because then every category I've created seems to show up on every menu....instead of only the categories showing on the menus I want them to show on..
Please help.

Hi, category description is displayed on page at the top of each category. Not sure, if I understand you correctly. In which box in which view you want to display the description? (maybe will be better to display it in some screenshot )
