I installed Phoca Gallery on a Joomla 3.2.1 based website.
I encounter the following problems:
1) I would like to put an icon/avatar on the maps instead of the standard map icon. This icon/avatar is not to be displayed in the concerned photo maps. How do I do that, I've been looking everywhere but I seem not to find how to do this.
2) When I go to the photo section on my website, there is an enourmous white space between the top of the page and the first indicated Phoca Gallery map. Is there a way to get rid of this enoying white space so that the photo map is displayed directly under the website menu?
Looking forward to your repluy.

Re: Icon on maps and white space in Gallery
Hi,
1) icons can be changed in Phoca Maps, in Phoca Gallery this needs to be customized directly in the code.
2) this mostly depends on the template, do you get this problem with another template? Try to see the html of the space and get the info about the class - and try to set some smaller padding and margin for this element in your template css.
