I downloaded and installed the new theme, but in the frontend anything changed!

versions:
joomla: 3.2.1
phoca gallery: 4.0.4

Hi, there is still no new theme for Phoca Gallery 4, I hope I will write some before Joomla! 3 will be stable LTS.

Anyway there are new modern techniques for designing Phoca Gallery - you can design it in CSS - or load own CSS (as CSS3 is powerful, it is better way to change the design per CSS - the page is more cleaner and loading is faster)

Hi, yes, just copy the images to the server.

But since Joomla! 3, images are located in media folder:

media/com_phocagallery/images
